Keir Starmer and Emmanuel Macron have today pledged to 'support Ukraine unwaveringly' for as long as necessary to 'thwart Russia's war of aggression'.
The UK Prime Minister and French President marked Armistice Day at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Paris, and held a meeting to discuss the situation in Russia and tackling illegal migrants crossing the Channel.
Their solidarity comes after Donald Trump's victorious bid to return to the White House has raised question marks over the US position on Ukraine.
Speculation is swirling that Trump may be set to call Russian President Vladimir Putin, urging him to end the war in Ukraine - but the world continues to await action from the Trump camp.
Trump claimed that he could end the Russia-Ukraine War in "one day", but it is so far unclear how.
Starmer's appearance in France on Armistice Day was the first by a British leader since Winston Churchill in 1944.
