Whilst obtaining his degree in Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick, Tom got heavily involved in various student-led journalistic outlets. From writing extensively for The Boar newspaper to becoming Deputy Editor of Warwick Perspectives, his articles varied from analyses of party conferences to looking at how celebrities weaponise ‘cancel culture’. During his time at Warwick, Tom won the Warwick Perspectives Award for ‘Best US Article’ in 2024, and wrote his undergraduate dissertation on how US war movies influence public perception of foreign policy. Outside of university, Tom has written for Screen Rant’s Movies & TV section, completed a journalism internship with The Borgen Project, and currently works as a PR Comms & Content Officer at a Further Education College.
