Sofia Andreis

Sofia is a First-Class graduate from King's College London, having completed her degree in History and International Relations in 2024. Throughout her undergraduate years, she focused her studies on Latin America and Europe, with a particular focus on French and Brazilian affairs, both past and present. Her dissertation, which analysed the political and economic impact of Plano Real in Brazilian society was awarded a final grade of 77, the highest in the module. Outside of academic endeavours, she undertook both internships and volunteer projects. Namely, she served as a committee member of the 2022 edition of Brazil Forum UK, as the Academic Events Officer for King's College London's War Studies Society and as an intern at IDEIA Research Institute during the historic 2022 elections in Brazil. She is currently undertaking a traineeship within the Events division of Thomson Reuters, where she is engaged in marketing and producing conferences & webinars about global supply chains.Â
