Oisín Cahalane

Oisín joined Europinion as a Political Commentator in December 2025. He holds a degree in Theoretical Physics from Trinity College Dublin and is currently studying for an NCTJ Diploma in Journalism with the Press Association. With a background that bridges quantitative analysis and storytelling, Oisín is particularly interested in the impact of artificial intelligence on politics, democratic institutions, and public discourse. He brings a cross-disciplinary perspective to Europinion’s coverage, exploring how emerging technologies are reshaping power, governance, and political accountability.
