Born and raised in Cyprus, I am a final-year LLB student at the University of Warwick with a strong academic focus on international law and EU constitutional politics. My research interests include the rule of law crisis within the European Union, the Cyprus Problem, and broader questions of sovereignty in divided or postcolonial states. I have interned with legal professionals in the fields of international and human rights law, which has strengthened my understanding of transnational legal systems and sharpened my interest in conflict resolution and institutional accountability. I have previously written on democratic backsliding in the EU and the international legal dimensions of unresolved territorial disputes. I intend to pursue a career in public international law and look forward to contributing my perspective to Europinion’s political commentary.
