Gabrielle Apfel

Gabrielle Apfel is a History finalist at the University of Cambridge, specialising in the political thought of nationalism, liberalism and feminism, as well as twentieth-century political history in the UK, Israel, the United States, France and Germany.
She has previously interned at Prospect and the Jewish Chronicle, and continues to freelance for both publications. She also writes for Varsity, the University of Cambridge’s student newspaper.
Her work focuses on the relationship between nationalism, liberalism and feminism, and on how liberal nationalism can reconcile national identity with equality for minorities.
