Burcu Bal

Born and raised in Türkiye, Burcu later moved to Germany to pursue a Master’s degree in British Studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, specialising in British politics and international relations. Her thesis examined British foreign policy during the Syrian civil war.

She is particularly interested in geopolitics, foreign policy, and regional power dynamics, with a focus on Europe’s relations with Türkiye and the Middle East.
