About the Role

The Role

We are looking for a creative, ambitious Head of Communications to lead Europinion’s communications and audience-growth strategy across multiple platforms. This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about media, politics, and European affairs to shape how Europinion engages with the public, policymakers, and youth audiences across Europe and the wider world.


Responsibilities

Lead and implement a cross-platform communications strategy (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, BlueSky, WhatsApp broadcast)
Curate and post regular content showcasing Europinion’s publications, events, and research partnerships
Develop innovative dissemination approaches, including SEO-optimised articles, short-form video, newsletters, and visual storytelling
Monitor engagement analytics and grow Europinion’s audience reach.
Work closely with editorial and research teams to ensure coherence between communications and Europinion’s mission

What We Offer

This is a voluntary, unpaid position, ideal for someone at the beginning of their communications or policy career who wants to gain substantive experience in a credible and fast-growing organisation. You’ll join a collaborative team working alongside partners at the University of Oxford and European institutions, shaping how a new generation understands and responds to disinformation.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in European politics, digital communications, and civic engagement

  • Experience (formal or self-taught) in communications, social media management, or campaign strategy

  • Proactive, creative, and comfortable working autonomously

  • Looking to build a tangible portfolio showing measurable impact

  • Aligned with Europinion’s vision of empowering youth against disinformation
