About the Role
The Europinion Institute for Research (EIR) is seeking a motivated and well-organised Head of Recruitment to lead and coordinate volunteer recruitment across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate interested in human resources, talent acquisition, communications, research organisations, or European affairs.
As Head of Recruitment, you will help EIR attract talented students, graduates, and early-career researchers who are eager to contribute to the Institute’s work. You will play a central role in shaping the organisation’s volunteer base, supporting its growth, and helping ensure that new members are effectively recruited, selected, and onboarded.
The Head of Recruitment will be responsible for developing and managing EIR’s volunteer recruitment initiatives. This includes identifying recruitment channels, coordinating outreach to universities and student organisations, creating engaging role descriptions, screening applications, supporting interviews, and helping design onboarding processes for new volunteers.
You will work closely with the Executive Secretary and other members of the organisation to understand recruitment needs and ensure that EIR continues to attract capable, enthusiastic, and mission-driven volunteers.
Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
Develop recruitment strategies suitable for a volunteer-based organisation
Coordinate with universities and student organisations to attract talent
Create engaging position descriptions for volunteer roles
Screen applications and coordinate the interview process
Help design onboarding procedures for new volunteers
Maintain a database of potential volunteers and their skills
Work closely with the Executive Secretary to understand organisational needs
Ideal Candidate:
Current student or recent graduate in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or related field
Interest in talent acquisition and volunteer coordination
Strong interpersonal and networking skills
Experience with social media and digital communications
Well-organised with attention to detail
Understanding of academic environments and research organisations
Ability to commit 10-15 hours per week to the role
