George holds a BA in History from the University of Southampton and an MA in Politics and Contemporary History from King’s College London. His research focuses on contemporary British politics and political history from 1945 to the present day, ranging from UK constitutional issues to distinction-level pieces on the extreme-right in 21st century British politics. George’s examination of New Labour’s foreign policy won the Strand Group’s Blair Years essay prize, chosen by the UK’s former Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Defence. He currently holds a research position at Westminster Forum Projects, contributing to the production of timely conferences in the sphere of British policy and current affairs.
